I support a system that guarantees comprehensive coverage for every American, eliminates the predatory practices of insurance companies, and lowers the skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs. In Washington, I will fight to ensure that no family is ever forced to choose between their physical health and their financial survival.

As an OB-GYN who has dedicated my career to women’s health, I believe that reproductive freedom is a fundamental human right that must be protected by federal law. I will fight to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to codify the protections of Roe v. Wade and ensure that medical decisions remain where they belong—between a patient and their doctor.
Beyond reproductive rights, I am committed to achieving true equity by closing the gender pay gap, expanding access to affordable childcare, and ending the maternal mortality crisis that continues to disproportionately affect women of color.

By protecting DACA recipients, creating clear pathways to citizenship, and investing in humane processing instead of militarized enforcement, we can build an immigration system that finally honors our values and keeps the American Dream alive.

Housing is the single largest expense for our families, and it is becoming increasingly out of reach for the very people who make our community run. As Mayor of East Brunswick, I've been working with our local agencies to build affordable housing and redevelop underutilized properties throughout the town. I will fight for federal investments that increase our housing supply and provide robust tax credits for first-time homebuyers and renters alike.
By incentivizing the development of affordable, transit-oriented housing and protecting residents from predatory rent hikes, we can ensure that New Jersey remains a place where our children can afford to stay and our seniors can afford to retire.

As a product of public education and former Board of Education President, I know that a world-class education is the most powerful tool for social mobility. As a Board of Education member, I stood up to Chris Christie to ensure that our children were not the ones suffering if budgets were cut and actually increased programming for our students. In Washington, I will fight to expand federal support for early childhood education and universal pre-K.
By investing in our teachers, modernizing our school infrastructure, and making vocational training and higher education more affordable, we can ensure that every student—regardless of their zip code—has a fair shot at the American Dream.

Our diversity is our greatest strength, and I am committed to building a future where every individual can live authentically, safely, and with the full dignity they deserve.

We must hold the gun lobby accountable and prioritize the safety of our children in their classrooms over the profits of weapon manufacturers.

By strengthening the EPA and holding corporate polluters accountable, I will ensure we combat the climate crisis and leave our children a future with clean air and sustainable energy.

It is time we restore trust in our institutions by ensuring that every American's voice carries more weight than a corporate checkbook.

Our current tax code is rigged to favor the ultra-wealthy and massive corporations while middle-class families in New Jersey shoulder the burden. I will fight to repeal the $10,000 SALT deduction cap, which has unfairly penalized New Jersey homeowners for far too long.
By closing corporate loopholes and ensuring that the top 1% pay their fair share, we can provide meaningful tax relief to working families and fund the essential services, like our infrastructure needs and public school education, that our community relies on.
